I am a freelance photographer based in Janesville, Wisconsin. I have previous staff photojournalism experience at the Wisconsin State Journal, Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World-Herald.
I graduated with a bachelor of journalism and a bachelor of science in sustainable agriculture from the University of Missouri. Photojournalism allows me to combine my interests of agriculture and storytelling, and to share stories from rural America.
My work has been published in NPR, the Associated Press, Getty Images, The New York Times, ESPN, USA Today, The Intercept, Inside Columbia Magazine, Lee Enterprises and Shaw Media publications. My work has been recognized by College Photographer of the Year, the Hearst Journalism Awards Program (2017-18), and I attended the Eddie Adams Workshop in October 2016.
